Phenomenal News from RK Cultural Productions

From our friends at RK Cultural Productions

Dear loyal friend,
Can you believe we are midway through June?

I hope this email finds you and yours doing well, staying healthy, and looking forward to returning to in-person concerts and cultural art events this year.

We at RK are preparing another spectacular season that we hope to present LIVE. Let’s face it, Zoom and digital events are just not the same as friends gathering to enjoy beautiful music and performances.

As RK’s loyal patron and dear friend, I wanted to share our exciting news.

The Boston Early Music Festival (BEMF) and RK Cultural Productions will co-produce BEMF’s annual Chamber Opera Series in Florida!

Boston Early Music Festival has earned a distinguished international reputation for reviving Baroque opera masterpieces with today’s leading operatic superstars and a wealth of instrumental talent. Infused with the latest information on period singing, orchestral performance, scenic design, costuming, dance, and staging, these performances take the form of full-scale spectacle operas, salon-style chamber operas, exceptional concert performances, national and international tours, radio and internet broadcasts, and acclaimed recording projects. BEMF operas reproduce the Baroque’s stunning palette of sound and sight, expertly led by Artistic Directors Paul O’Dette and Stephen Stubbs, and creatively reimagined for the stage by Opera Director Gilbert Blin.

Since 2008, BEMF has taken its signature level of artistry and scholarship to smaller-scale Baroque operas with their annual Chamber Opera Series.

Presented in Boston over Thanksgiving weekend, these intimate productions incorporate stunning costumes, Baroque staging and dance, and world-class musicianship. Past Chamber Opera Series productions have been featured on tour throughout North America, winning acclaim in New York City, Vancouver, Seattle, and Kansas City. This year we add Miami to their list.

We are thrilled and humbled to be partnering with such a world-renowned organization as the Boston Early Music Festival.

On Wednesday, November 30, 2022, RK fans will have rare opportunity to enjoy BEMF’s double bill of chamber operas – featuring Jean-Baptiste Lully’s Idylle sur la Paix and Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s La Fête de Rueil – at the beautiful and welcoming Aventura Arts & Cultural Center.

With this honor also comes a price tag that will propel us into a higher annual budget since our initial season in 2018-2019.

As part of our mission to keep our events available to everyone in our South Florida community, past ticket pricing will remain.

RK’s projected ticket revenues will cover less than 20% of the cost of presenting this event. We will need your support to make this dream a reality.

We ask our loyal patrons and Early Music lovers, who understand the importance of providing our community with the history and beauty of Early Music, to consider supporting our efforts by making a donation pledge today.

Donations of any amount are welcomed and appreciated. Still, to meet our goal for this performance, we have created a unique circle of support levels with special incentives and recognition.

As a Festival Donor, you will receive particular mention in our program books throughout the season and two (2) complimentary tickets to this year’s BEMF performance.

Donations at the Festival Supporter and Festival Advocate levels will receive additional benefits such as tickets to all of this season’s events; an invitation to a special recognition event with our Board of Directors, artists, and staff; you will be offered a full page in our program book to announce your special milestones, achievements of family or friends, or you may use it as a memorial page for a loved one.

The Pledge form has been attached, and we ask you to complete and return it to us at your convenience. We hope to have all pledges funded by October 30, 2022.

Cash donations can be made via Paypal/credit cards by visiting our website https://rkculturalproductions.org/become-a-sponsor/. Donation checks should be made payable to RK Cultural Productions and mailed to RK Cultural Productions Inc, 7560 SW 28 Street, Miami, FL 33155. RK Cultural Productions is a Florida 501(3)c non-profit, and donations are tax-deductible.

We hope you are delighted with this new addition to our annual series, and we look forward to seeing you at our 2022-2023 season concerts.

We will soon update our website to provide additional information on RK’s 2022-2023 complete season. It’s going to be an exciting return to live concerts.

With great gratitude,
