The College of Architecture + The Arts and the FIU School of Music will host the 2016 Annual Conference of the Society for Seventeenth-Century Music (SSCM) April 14–17, 2016 in Coconut Grove. Paper sessions and concerts will take place at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church; FIU students may attend paper sessions at no charge.

Two concerts are sponsored by FIU and the Miami Bach Society; tickets will be available here. FIU students are admitted to the concerts for free. Our first concert on Thursday April 14 at 7:30pm will celebrate Miami’s Spanish roots by featuring the world’s leading authority on vihuela, John Griffiths.
